What Temperature Can Exhaust Silencer Packing Material Withstand?

Exhaust silencer packing material needs to work in high-temperature exhaust environments for a long time, so temperature resistance is one of the most core performance indicators of the product. The maximum withstand temperature of the material varies according to different raw material formulas and production processes, which can meet the temperature requirements of different types of exhaust equipment.

Conventional glass fiber silencer packing materials can stably work for a long time at a temperature below 450℃, and can withstand instantaneous high temperature of 500℃. It is suitable for most ordinary passenger cars and light mechanical equipment. High-grade ceramic fiber and high-temperature resistant glass fiber materials produced by our factory have long-term stable working temperature of 600℃, and the instantaneous temperature resistance can reach 650℃. These materials are mainly used for heavy-duty trucks, engineering machinery, generators and high-power equipment with higher exhaust temperature.

All our temperature-resistant materials will not deform, pulverize or lose sound absorption performance under continuous high-temperature working conditions. The production process removes low-temperature impurities in raw materials, avoiding material carbonization and failure caused by long-term high-temperature baking.
