First, check the condition of the Heat Shield and its accessories before installation. Confirm that the Muffler Heat Shield has no deformation or damage, and that connecting bolts, gaskets and other accessories are complete and free of rust. If there are any problems, replace them in time to avoid affecting the stability after installation.
Second, align the installation position correctly during installation. Cover the Heat Shield accurately on the designated area of the muffler, ensure it fits the surface of the muffler, and there should be no deviation or excessive gaps. Otherwise, the heat insulation effect will be reduced. At the same time, tighten the fixing bolts according to the specified torque. The torque value should refer to the product manual. If the bolts are too loose, the Heat Shield will become loose; if too tight, the bolts or the Muffler Heat Shield may be damaged.
In addition, pay attention to the distance between the Heat Shield and surrounding components. Ensure there is a sufficient safe gap between the Heat Shield and components such as the engine and oil pipe to prevent potential safety hazards caused by high-temperature transfer.
Finally, conduct an inspection after installation. Shake the Muffler Heat Shield by hand to confirm there is no looseness, and check whether all connection points are firm to ensure the installation meets the requirements.
