Basalt fiber muffler packing (multi-layer noise reduction) is a dedicated sound-absorbing material developed for cavity filling of various exhaust silencers. It is elaborately woven from continuous bulked textured yarn and shaped with low-temperature meltable restraining yarn. It retains a neat, stable shape at room temperature. When exposed to high heat from equipment exhaust, the restraining yarn melts and releases the inherent high elasticity of basalt fiber. The material fully expands to fill the entire silencer cavity with no empty gaps. Boasting outstanding high temperature resistance, it maintains stable performance during long-term service in high-temperature exhaust environments. Standard products are supplied in rolls with a maximum length of 20 m, standard width within 1000 m and maximum areal weight of 1500 g per square meter. Custom sizes are also available. Packed in standard cartons for reliable protection, it is widely used in silencing equipment for motor vehicles and industrial machinery, delivering stable and durable noise reduction.
