Fiber Glass Reinforcement Mat is a high-performance sealing gasket composite produced through a special glue impregnation process with fiberglass as the primary reinforcing material. This product integrates fiberglass's exceptional tensile strength and temperature resistance, with a softening temperature of 950°C, an ultimate tensile strength of 350 kg/mm², and an elastic modulus of 7300 kg/mm². It also delivers great flexibility and reliable sealing performance from its base substrate, making it ideal for flange sealing connections under diverse complex operating conditions.The product features a smooth surface and uniform thickness ranging from 5 mm to 25 mm. Its formula can be flexibly modified to satisfy different pressure classes and medium service requirements. The optimal storage environment maintains a temperature of 15°C to 35°C and relative humidity between 30% and 70%. It is extensively applied for sealing pipelines, valves and pressure vessels in chemical, power, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial sectors.

Operating Instructions

Standard packaging uses woven bags mounted on pallets, whereas special-shaped cuttings are packed in cartons. Thoroughly clean flange sealing surfaces prior to installation to remove scratches, rust and residual fragments of old gaskets.

Standard roll widths of the mat are 1.2 m and 1.5 m, and the material can be cut to custom dimensions. Position the cut mat centrally between the flanges, and tighten all bolts evenly in a diagonal cross pattern to stop leakage triggered by uneven compressive stress.

For initial start-up, run the equipment at a working temperature no higher than 850°C for a period, then inspect for bolt loosening and retighten fasteners as needed.

Store the product in a cool, dry area with ambient temperature kept at 15°C–35°C and relative humidity of 30%–70%. Keep away from direct sunlight and humid surroundings.
