Products Description
Glass fiber muffler packing (multi-layer noise reduction) is a dedicated sound insulation material tailor-made for cavity filling of various exhaust silencers. It is precision-woven from premium continuous bulked textured glass fiber yarn, with low-temperature meltable binding yarn for shaping and restraint. Exhaust heat generated during equipment operation melts the low-temperature restraining yarn, releasing the inherent high elasticity of the glass fiber yarn and allowing the material to fully expand and fill the entire silencer cavity.Glass fiber muffler packing (multi-layer noise reduction) boasts excellent high temperature resistance. It has a softening point of 880 ℃ and a maximum operating temperature of 720 ℃, making it ideal for high-temperature exhaust conditions. The product features flexible dimensions: standard width is within 1000 mm, and areal weight does not exceed 1500 grams per square meter. Custom processing is supported. It is supplied in rolls up to 20 meters long and conventionally packed in cartons, to meet the silencing and filling needs of different types of equipment.
Working Principle

The built-in low-temperature binding yarn melts when exposed to exhaust heat, releasing the elasticity of glass fiber and enabling the material to stretch and fit the inner space of silencers automatically.
